Tommy Stiffarm
President/Founder
I was born on July 12, 1956 at the Fort Belknap Indian Agency located on the Fort Belknap Reservation in North Central Montana. I am an enrolled member of the Gros Ventre People at Fort Belknap in Montana. I am currently living in Great Falls, MT for the past 19 years. I’ve been sober and clean for 19 years walking the Red Road to Wellbriety.

In 2006 I founded the Sacred Web Recovery Coalition utilizing the Warrior Down Relapse Prevention and Re-entry Support program with the objective of helping Native American men and women who have been incarcerated and continually relapse and return back to prison. Since implementing the Warrior Down program we have helped many individuals to return to the community healing not only themselves but helping their families to heal. Beginning in October 2009, we became a Voucher Issuing Agency and Recovery Support Service provider for the Rocky Mountain Tribal Access to Recovery initiative sponsored by the Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council. Since joining the Access to Recovery initiative, we have increased our potential to reach out to more of those individuals in the community who struggle with their recovery journey. We are learning that we must create and help heal these individuals in the community so they can reach out and help the individuals returning to the community from prison, jail, treatment or pre-release.

Future goals are to offer other Native American communities in Montana our services by helping them with establishing their own Warrior Down Relapse Prevention and Re-entry Support program. Beginning in February 2010, we are starting to bring in Blaine “Woody” Woods from Wellbriety to Prisons, Inc. to conduct the Wellbriety for Prisons training's. We have sponsored now 2 of these training's and hope to offer more in the rest of 2010.
